Ibtisam Hameed Nussrat is an Iraqi Artist hailing from Baghdad. Inspired by the life, colours, architecture and people of her home in Iraq, her artwork has been featured in galleries around the world. With a unique brush style, a range of mediums and her use of small materials that others have discarded or donated, she is always looking for new ways to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. Since leaving Iraq in 2011 to reunite with her children in Canada, she continues to experiment with new forms of art and create innovative pieces.
